Your role

Who we're looking for:

As Cambrium’s Sales Manager for Personal Care, you will be an essential part of our Commercial Team, reporting directly to the Head of Personal Care. As an early employee, you will have an outsized impact, shaping the company through your experience and efforts.
The Sales Manager Personal Care will manage sales activities for our vegan collagen active ingredient globally, executing on strategies to deliver our company revenue goals while building long-term, valuable relationships with our personal care customers.

What you can expect to do:

  • Work with the Head of Personal Care to develop sales strategies which fit with the Personal Care growth objectives
  • Initiate outreach to new leads and develop a strong pipeline of personal care customers (primarily brands, contract manufacturers and distributors), with the goal of generating revenue
  • Manage Key Accounts, from initial contact through to closing deals and after-sales service, maintaining existing relationships whilst identifying and promoting new opportunities
  • Build strong customer relationships to expand business and provide clarity into the customers’ plans and forecasts
  • Monitor, evaluate, and report on sales volume, areas of expansion, competitor activities and products
  • Assisting with the launch of new products in the cosmetics ingredient space
  • Represent the company at trade shows and conferences
  • Travel as required in line with company goals
Your profile

You'll be a great fit if you’re:

  • Specialty chemicals background in the personal care and cosmetics industries
  • Have at least 3-5 years of experience selling ingredients into the personal care market or other relevant market space
  • Entrepreneurial with a strong sense of urgency and able to understand and deliver on customers needs
  • Excellent English communication (verbal and written) and the interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
  • Berlin based or within easy travel distance of our Berlin office (flexible remote work possible)
